This place has been on my list ever for a while now, and while I was out visiting clients, I was actually in the area! I stopped by for a quick coffee and pastry. Walking in, I was greeted and got my order started. They had a fun holiday drink menu, where I ordered the Frosted Mocha, iced. This was latte with dark chocolate, mint, and candied peppermint. I paired it with a butter croissant and a dark chocolate cookie. I sat outside for a while, and they had a lot of orders being picked up for their various cakes and specialty pastries. I hope to be back in the area to have their opera cake and anything else that is seasonal!

Keep in mind they close pretty early at 2pm. The inside is very pretty with a wide selection of desserts and bakery items. I got the chocolate pistachio macaron cake ($8.5) and the medialuna croissant ($5.5) since the pistachio croissant was sold out. In my opinion, the pistachio macaron cake was a little too sweet to my liking and the medialuna was decent. It was airy and flaky. I would say that it costed more than I would've liked. The service though is great, very helpful and gave me recommendations of what to try and what the staff personally liked.

I love this bakery!! So many delicious options- we ordered some dinner rolls to bake at home for Thanksgiving and some individual pecan pies for dessert! They did not disappoint!! Instructions for the dinner rolls were easy and the end result was delicious!! And, as always the pies were a fantastic end to a lovely meal!!

The shop was really clean andnice There were not too many options in the window but I got a chocolate pistachio croissant which was very heavy and nicely filled. It was just not very flaky anymore The 2 entremets we got were nice . A chocolate one and a raspberry one. I will be back hoping for more. Service was nice but just didn't match the type of store

It is a beautiful, minimalist bakery, packed with excellent quality and delicious tasting. I tried chocolate pistachio unexpectedly delicious. But my star favorite was the Almond Croissant. Extremely delicious, I would say organic flavors. I don't like almond extract, it tastes artificial. And here at JL patisserie don't add it to their food. Soooooo good!

Recently stopped by on a Tuesday. Selection was incredibly limited, I'd say less 1/4 pastries and breads available - not sure if it's a summer or weekday thing. Most desserts were chocolate; they had the usual eclairs and macarons. While I enjoy a good macaron, the flavors for the most part were not that exotic or unusual. I ended up leaving with a smaller than usual haul. The grain loaf, baguettes and plain croissants were a must and exceptional as always. Was a little sad there was no ham and cheese croissants left as they are a must have for me. I usually love their opera cakes and cruffins, but none of that was available. I was most excited about trying the pineapple cake (more like pina colada cake), it did not disappoint. The cake was basically a coconut macaron topped with pineapple puree. Would highly recommend. I settled on a cinnamon bun, vanilla eclair and lime cheesecake as a last resort. Minus the cheesecake, all very good, just a little more common than I was hoping for. The lime cheesecake was a total disappointment as most of it was plain with a half mouthful of green lightly lime flavored filling. Sadly very underwhelming. Service exceptional, presentation and packing of the treats great... but I'd only come back on a weekend.
